Ask your dealership a question and read the answer, key figure first.
AI reporting for boat dealers, in plain English. Type "how many boats are on the lot over 150 days" and Ask reads your live records and answers, with the key figure up front.

An analyst that can read and cannot write
AI reporting for boat dealers works when the answer comes from live records, not a stale export. Ask understands dealer language and answers from live inventory, deals, customers, leads and communications. It looks at the database structure itself, runs read-only queries, and corrects a query that errors. You never see SQL. It cannot change a record.
- Answers lead with the key figure, in markdown with tables where they help
- Follow-up questions continue the same thread
- Read-only queries with a row cap and a time limit
- An editable glossary maps your words ("on the lot", "before pending", brokerage vs standard) to the data
- Ask by voice, and have answers read aloud
- Conversations are logged and reviewable by admins
How Ask works
- 01
Type or speak a question
Use a starter prompt or your own words.
- 02
Ask finds the data
It checks the structure of your records, then runs a read-only query.
- 03
You get an answer
The answer streams in with the number first and a short interpretation of what was asked.
- 04
Optionally switch on Advanced
Advanced reads a purchase agreement or title you attach and proposes updates to a deal. A person ticks each change; nothing writes until they apply it.
What Ask does not do yet
Admins only
Ask is available to admins. A reload starts a fresh thread, though past conversations are viewable by admins.
Advanced mode is locked behind a second password
It stays locked until an admin sets the password, and access is granted per person for a short window. Never assume it is set up on your account without checking.
Read-only means bounded
Queries are capped in rows and time. Ask answers from recorded data only, so a question about data you do not record gets an honest "not tracked", not a guess.
Advanced covers deal paperwork only
It reads deal documents you attach and proposes field fills. Conflicts with recorded values need a separate explicit confirmation, and it cannot delete anything.
What dealers ask about this
Standard Ask cannot. It has no write tool, and that is checked when the software is built. Advanced can propose deal updates, but a person approves each one and the change is attributed to that person.
It runs through BoaterOS's single AI gateway with spend limits per user and per feature. The model behind it is chosen by the platform, not by the dealer.
It answers only from your records, and staff can review the full conversation trail. It can still misread an ambiguous question, so the answer states how it interpreted yours.
